Occupation: Attorney-At Home Mom
Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 Share a bit about yourself. (Family, hobbies, career, etc.): I am happy to say that I did not hang out in high school, but I made up for it in college! I was Karazy in college, and I had a lot of fun as a Philsophy major at Emory in Atlanta, GA. I am skipping a lot now....I finally got married in 1998, Chicago is our hometown, and I have been committed and spiritually connected to Jesus Christ for a long while now. I was a nerd for school, studied hard but I hate reading. I am trying to do it more since I now have kids to raise and I have to keep my brain working to stay abreast of their homework! I love self-help books, nutrition, exercise tips and crime stories and politics, and I love music, especially good HOUSE, but I love the classic orginal artists of the 70's and 80's too. George Michael still rocks to me! (I am going to his concert stag on July 9) Oh yeah, i love my kids and family too, they are beautiful and keep me going. I love the friends I have made thru the years, they all had meaning to me and it was part of my life so it had to be worth the time! It is so funny to see others online...fast forward, I married a high school homecoming king, yet I was a nerdy nurse lookalike in that high school photo! lol! Who have you lost touch with over the years that you hope to reconnect with at the reunion?: Everyone, but the ones who contact me, I am game, if i recognize your face, I will email you and track you down! Hey Theresa Kazienko (sp?), so funny to see you at that art gathering back in 1999, I am so not an art show person, but I love art! |

Occupation: Library Media Specialist
Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 3 Share a bit about yourself. (Family, hobbies, career, etc.): Went to U of I in Champaign for a Bachelor's in Music Ed. I taught junior high band for four years on the Navajo reservation in AZ where I also met my husband, Bruce. We have been married for 13 years and have 3 rambunctious boys. Jack is 8, Luke is 5 and Sam is 3 1/2. We lived in AZ for 6 years during which I went back to school to be a school library media specialist. (That was a big career shift for me since I was such a band geek in HS and college.) After AZ we moved to Denver for 6 years where I taught at an inner-city school. After we began having kids we wanted to be closer to the grandparents and moved to WI. We have lived here, 35 mi west of Green Bay (Go Packers!)for the past 4 years. We really miss the Rocky Mountains and hope to retire in Colorado someday. I have enjoyed reading bio's on this site--it is really hard to believe it has been 20 years already. Who have you lost touch with over the years that you hope to reconnect with at the reunion?: I have missed Michelle Boyd (thanks for emailing me about this) Wendy Woodring, Amy Gustafson, and have been curious to find out about classmates from Puffer. |

Occupation: Daycare Provider
Marital Status: Divorced No. of Children: 2 Share a bit about yourself. (Family, hobbies, career, etc.): When did you all become ADULTS?? Hi everyone! After DGN, I graduated from Eastern Illinois and worked at a couple uneventful companies. I did marry Andy Ringo (also class of 88) and we have two of THE BEST daughters ever, Maddie, who just turned 10, and 7year old Abby. They are the light of my life! Sadly, we divorced, but we have been able to stay friends. I now live in Plainfield with my girls and my spousal equivalent, Benjamin. I was a stay at home mom for many years, so started an in home daycare business so I could continue to be home with my girls. It is never a dull moment, and the benefits are great! As much as I love Plainfield, we are in the process of moving to the northern suburbs (anyone need daycare up there?) I spend most of my free time with my girls or on the golf course. Who have you lost touch with over the years that you hope to reconnect with at the reunion?: I have lost touch with just about everyone. I think about our little group of Melissa DelBene, Monica Muehlhaus, Andrea Boness, Sally Johnson and the rest of us who were in band but NOT GEEKS!! :) Outside of band there were so many others....Heather Young..where are you? |

Occupation: Athletic Trainer
Marital Status: Single Share a bit about yourself. (Family, hobbies, career, etc.): Has it really been 20 years? Wow. Reading everyone's bio, it seems like just yesterday. Where have I been? Well, after graduation, I went to the University of Illinois and became a certified athletic trainer. I spent most of my free time at sporting events and having a blast. I went the the University of Pittsburgh for my Masters degree. I am an instructor and head athletic trainer at Truman State University in Missouri. I don't have a husband or children. I work with the football team, taking care of injuries, so it does feel like I have 100 college age boys. Just wait 'till yours get that age. Who have you lost touch with over the years that you hope to reconnect with at the reunion?: I miss hearing stories from the band geeks and soccer nerds. Lee Weisenstein, Chris Marek, Jeff Vilimek, Noel Carleson. I'll be taping ankles and fixing boo-boo's instead of attending the reunion. Have a great time! |
